Crowns and bridges

For a tooth too broken to fill. Made by a laboratory we have used for years, and fitted over two visits.

from €650

When there is more filling than tooth left, another filling will keep breaking. A crown covers what remains and holds it together.

Two visits. At the first the tooth is shaped, an impression or a scan is taken, and a temporary crown goes on — which will feel slightly odd and is meant to. The laboratory makes the real one, and it is fitted about two weeks later.

A bridge is the same idea across a gap: the teeth either side carry a replacement for the missing one. It is not always the right answer, and we will say so when it is not.
